What are the Eight Auspicious Treasures?
When the Buddha attained enlightenment and manifested great spiritual powers, celestial maidens descended from the heavens to offer the Eight Auspicious Treasures. These sacred symbols share a profound connection with the Buddha’s enlightenment and represent complete goodness and perfect auspiciousness.
By making this offering, one accumulates vast stores of merit and swiftly perfects both merit and wisdom, creating the causes and conditions for great spiritual accomplishment.

Dharma Wheel – Ever-turning of the Dharma, dispelling wrong views and revealing truth
Dharma Conch – The sound of the Dharma spreads far and wide, subduing negative forces
Victory Banner – Triumph over obstacles and attainment of great success
Precious Parasol – Protection from harm and shelter for all beings
Treasure Vase – Overflowing nectar, symbolizing inexhaustible wisdom
Lotus – Purity of the Dharma, free from defilements
Golden Fish (Pair) – Diligence and freedom, turning away from negativity towards auspiciousness
Endless Knot – Continuity of the Dharma, infinite auspiciousness

☘️ During the Vesak celebration period (9 days), the Eight Auspicious Treasures will be offered on behalf of the donor, praying for the blessings and protection of the Triple Gem.
☘️ A name card of the donor will be placed before the offering, receiving the illumination of the Buddha’s light.
☘️ An Auspicious Light Offering will be made on behalf of the donor, symbolizing enduring hope and brightness.
☘️ A Sangha Offering will be performed on the day of the Dharma Assembly for the donor.
