Dharma Items

At Ban Foo Monastery, Dharma items available on our website are intended solely for Dharma practice and educational purposes, not for profit.

We do not treat these items as ordinary goods for sale. Instead, we offer them with the intention to benefit all who view or acquire them, gratefully accepting monetary offerings in return.

Generosity-Based Offerings

Many of our digital items are available on a generosity-based model, starting at RM0 or at a minimal cost.

Minimum Offering Amounts

For most items, we have set a minimum offering amount to cover production or import costs.

All proceeds are meticulously accounted for following stringent accounting practices. Funds from Dharma items are allocated to produce more Dharma materials and to further Ban Foo Monastery's charitable missions and projects.

We adhere strictly to Buddhist principles in utilizing these funds, ensuring they are not used for purposes unrelated to Dharma propagation and charitable missions.

Approach to Acquiring Dharma Items Online

We encourage you to view Dharma items not as ordinary commodities for purchase but as opportunities to make offerings to a Buddhist organization. Cultivate an attitude of devotion and a wish to benefit all sentient beings.

By making offerings to the Buddhas, aspire to attain their faultless qualities and seek their blessings to support your practice. This approach helps avoid the misconception of treating Dharma items in an ordinary commercial manner.

Ban Foo Monastery's online platform exists to make Dharma items accessible to students worldwide, supporting our charitable missions and projects. If you are unable to offer the suggested amount for digital items or online programs, we are open to finding a suitable arrangement.
