V301 – Collective Offering for the Vesak Grand Altar (Limited Blessed Items)
🌼 Gathering the collective merits of all participants, a magnificent and sacred altar is established to offer to Shakyamuni Buddha. May it bring joy and invoke profound blessings.
✨ Merits
The Samantabhadra Bodhisattva’s Vows (Avataṃsaka Sutra) states:
“With the most garlands of flowers, music, fragrances, and parasols,
With supreme garments, incense, powdered incense, and lamps—
Each as lofty as Mount Sumeru—
I offer them all to the Tathāgatas.”
✨ Through such offerings:
☘️ Offering jeweled ornaments: Leads to rebirth in noble and virtuous families, with abundant worldly and spiritual wealth.
☘️ Offering fragrant vegetarian food: Accumulates vast merits and ensures abundance in food and sustenance.
☘️ Offering flowers and incense: Brings purity, dignified appearance, and graceful presence.
☘️ Offering fresh fruits: Brings peace, joy, and swift attainment of the fruit of enlightenment.
☘️ Offering fragrant cleansing water: Symbolizes purification of the mind, removing impurities, and attaining inner serenity and clarity.
✨ Offering Merit
By contributing to the Monastery and supporting the Sangha, the donor’s blessings will continuously grow and be inexhaustible.
✨ Benefits
☘️ A Collective Grand Altar Blessing Tablet will be established before the Buddha on behalf of the donor, invoking blessings and empowerment.
☘️ An Auspicious Lamp will be offered for the donor, praying for the Buddha’s blessings and protection.
☘️ Donors may collect a blessed item at the counter on the day of the puja.
✨ Dedication of Merits
“May the entire family enjoy peace and auspiciousness, with body and mind at ease.
May all obstacles of illness, karma, and afflictions be eliminated.
In this life, may one enjoy longevity and abundant blessings;
In future lives, may one be reborn in the heavenly or human realms, endowed with wealth, honor, and abundance, with dignified appearance and loved by all beings.
Life after life, may one encounter the pure and complete Dharma with great faith, wisdom, and merit;
May one be guided and embraced by noble spiritual teachers,
With all favorable inner and outer conditions for the study and practice of the true Dharma;
May one fully accomplish both the Sutra and Tantra paths,
And swiftly attain Buddhahood.”
