LF39 – Collective Grand Mandala Offering
🍃 “Great earth filled with fragrance and flowers,
Adorned with Mount Meru, the four land, sun and moon—
Reverently I offer this buddhaland, May all beings enjoy this pureland with me.”
— Mandala Offering Verse
🍃 The Significance of Offering a Mandala
🪔 Offering a mandala symbolizes presenting all the most precious things in the world—
the sun, moon, jewels, mountains, rivers, continents, and all of one’s possessions and enjoyments—
to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. It is one of the swiftest and most powerful methods for accumulating vast merit and wisdom.
🪔 For this Lamp Festival, the monastery will set up a magnificent Grand Mandala Plate, filled with jewels, coins, and other auspicious offering substances. Through this offering, benefactors accumulate both worldly and spiritual wealth, and gain abundant favorable conditions for Dharma study in this and future lives.
🪔 With this merit, may all conditions for Dharma practice swiftly gather, all negativities be purified, and may we together attain unsurpassed enlightenment.
🍃 Merits of the Offering
🪔 Supporting the construction of the monastery, enabling the Dharma to remain and flourish.
🪔 Participating in the collective offering of the Mahayana Scripture Stupa to Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and lineage masters—creating profound shared merit.
🍃 Any remaining funds will continue to support the monastery's Dharma propagation efforts, benefit sentient beings, and support the Sangha's education and livelihood, thereby increasing the donor’s blessings and merits.
🍃 Blessings & Dedication
🪔 The benefactor’s name will be included under Collective Mandala Offering.
🪔 With the powerful merits of supporting the monastery, the Sangha, and the Lamp Festival, we dedicate:
“May you enjoy auspiciousness day and night, be continually supported by the Teachers and the Three Jewels, grow in merit and wisdom, and swiftly attain Buddhahood.”
