💫 Merits of the Offering
The Compassionate Samadhi Water Repentance (Liang Huang Bao Chan) states:
“From countless practices arise the supreme fruit of flowers; the adorned reward body of the Buddha is perfected through proper conditions. If one offers flowers with a pure heart, a single petal of the mind-flower plants the seed of Bodhi.”

The meaning of offering flowers is that virtuous conduct radiates a fragrant purity, spreading to all sentient beings, enabling swift attainment of Bodhi.
