GM45 - Sponsor of the Great Compassion and Miraculous Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Shrine

◈ Avalokitesvara's Verse:
“Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva—wondrous beyond compare,
Pure and dignified through countless eons of cultivation.
Manifesting in thirty-two forms across the worlds of dust,
For hundreds of thousands of kalpas transforming in Jambudvīpa.
The vase of sweet dew sprinkles blessings unceasingly,
The willow branch in hand never wearies through the autumns.
Wherever prayers arise, there responses abound,
In the sea of suffering, ever serving as the raft of salvation.”

As stated in the Sutra of the Causes and Effects of the Past and Present:
“Among all fields of blessings, the Buddha’s field is supreme.
If one seeks the greatest fruit, one should make offerings to the Buddha.”

By offering exquisite items to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, one will be reborn into noble and virtuous families among humans and gods, enjoying abundance, happiness, and auspiciousness.

🪔 Offering 49 Eternal Lamps: Symbolizing Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva’s compassionate vow to hear the cries of the world and relieve all suffering.
🪔 Offering Fresh Flowers: Bestows beauty, purity, and noble appearance.
🪔 Offering Fresh Fruits: Brings peace, joy, and swift realization of enlightenment.
🪔 Offering Pure Water: Purifies body and mind, bringing serenity and joy.
🪔 Offering Incense: Purifies the three karmas—body, speech, and mind— and adorns the banner of precepts.

☘️ Merits of the Donor’s Contribution
🪔 Support the monastery construction, ensuring the propagation of the True Dharma and the widespread of the teachings.
🪔 Any remaining funds will continue to support the monastery's Dharma propagation efforts, benefit sentient beings, and support the Sangha's education and livelihood, thereby increasing the donor’s blessings and merits.

☘️ Blessings and Dedication
🪔 The monastery will set up two “Blessing Name Plaques” for the donor, praying for physical and mental well-being and day-and-night auspiciousness.
🪔 One-day offering of Light Lamps, symbolizing illumination and the radiance of hope.
🪔 A specially designed Great Compassion Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Blessing Plaque Card will be offered to Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, praying for health, peace, and the removal of all obstacles.
🪔 The Sponsor will be specially invited to offer incense during the Puja.
🪔 The Presiding Monk will personally read aloud and dedicate the donor’s name in the ceremonial prayer.
🪔 With the merits of monastery construction, Sangha support, and the great virtues of this puja, the dedication is made for the Sponsor:

May all illnesses, karmic obstacles, and mental afflictions be purified.
