🍃 Merits of Offering Food to the Buddhas and Sangha
🪔 Offering meals to the Buddhas and Sangha, combined with observing precepts, refraining from killing, and eating vegetarian, generates inconceivable merit.
🪔 According to the Sutra on Distinguishing Good and Evil Rebirths, offering meals to the Buddhas and Sangha brings tenfold merits:
Longevity
Perfect appearance and form
Strength and vitality
Excellent memory
Wisdom and eloquence
Being admired and rejoiced by all
Abundant treasures
Ease and comfort in human and heavenly realms
Rebirth in the heavens at death
Swift attainment of final nirvana

🍃  Merits of the Offering
🪔 Supporting the construction of the monastery, enabling the Dharma to remain and flourish.
🪔 Offering meals to lineage masters including Tsongkhapa and his disciples, Mañjuśrī Bodhisattva, Maitreya Bodhisattva, Nāgārjuna Bodhisattva, all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, and lineage masters.
🪔 These exquisite offerings are given to the Sangha and Buddhas, cultivating Dharma sustenance for the donor in this and future lives.
🪔 Any remaining funds will continue to support monastery construction, Dharma propagation, and the sustenance and study of the monastic community—bringing limitless worldly and spiritual merit to the donor.

🍃 Blessings & Dedication
🪔 The monastery will specially prepare a Grand Family Blessing Plaque before the Buddhas for the donor. The donor may add up to six additional names, praying that Buddha’s light blesses the entire family with happiness, peace, and fulfillment.
🪔 A Lamp of Boundless Blessings will be offered, invoking Buddha’s light every day and lifelong peace and protection.
🪔 Exquisite offerings will be arranged in a grand display for all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, increasing the donor and family’s merit and wisdom endlessly.
🪔 The donor is specially invited as a principal benefactor of this Lamp Festival.
🪔 The presiding Dharma teacher will chant the donor’s name for dedication.
