GM37 Calamity-Relief and Protection Banner (Single Name)

◈ Hang the Longevity Prayer Banner to dispel misfortune, increase blessings, and extend life!
🪔 The Medicine Buddha Sutra teaches: “If relatives and friends of the sick take refuge in the Medicine Master, Lapis Lazuli Light Tathāgata, invite the Sangha to recite this sutra, light a seven-tiered lamp, and hang a five-colored Longevity Prayer Banner—then the consciousness of the patient may return, as though awakening from a dream, and clearly perceive it.”
This practice of hanging the Five-Colored Longevity Banner helps the sick eradicate karmic and illness obstacles, increase blessings, and extend lifespan.
🪔 The prayer banner symbolizes the great spiritual power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, subduing negative forces. Making this offering helps dispel misfortune, overcome difficulties, and increase blessings and virtues.
🪔 The five colors represent peace, balance, dignity, auspiciousness, purity, liberation, and wisdom.
