🧧  Great Merits of the Dana Offerings

🏮 Offering meals to the Buddhas, the Sangha, and practicing vegetarianism generates inconceivable merit.
🏮 The Sutra on Distinguishing Good and Evil Karma mentions ten merits of offering meals to the Buddhas and monastics:
Longevity ，Perfect physical appearance，
Strength in limbs and joints Excellent memory
Wisdom and eloquence，Joy and delight from others
Abundant treasures, Freedom and ease in human and heavenly realms
Rebirth in heavenly realms at the time of death, Swift attainment of Nirvana

🏮 Offering meals to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in all directions.
🏮 Sponsoring monastic offerings during the Chinese New Year Dharma Assembly.

💫 Benefits & Dedication of Merits
🏮 A Grand Family Blessing Dedication Tablet Before the Buddha will be prepared for the donor, with the option to add six additional names.
🏮 A Ban Foo Lamp Offering will be offered on behalf of the donor to bring blessings.
🏮 Specially arranged, exquisite offerings will be presented to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in all directions on behalf of the donor.
🏮 The donor is specially invited as a Merit Patron of this Dharma Assembly.
🏮 Merits from the dana offerings will be dedicated.
🏮 Merits will be dedicated during the Grand Puja for Offering to the God of Wealth, Dharma Protectors, Devas, and Naga Kings.
🏮 Merits will be dedicated during the Chinese New Year Auspicious Blessings Puja.
🏮 Merits will be dedicated during the 15th day grand offering puja.
🏮 All merits from the New Year Dharma assemblies will be collectively dedicated with the prayer:
“May the entire family enjoy peace and auspiciousness in the New Year, with body and mind at ease. May illnesses, karmic obstacles, and mental afflictions be removed. May one live long in this life with abundant blessings, and in the next life be born in heavenly or noble realms, enjoying wealth, honor, ample food and clothing, and a dignified appearance that brings joy to all beings. Across countless lifetimes, may one encounter the complete Dharma with great faith, wisdom, and merit, be joyfully guided by supreme virtuous teachers, cultivate all favorable conditions for internal and external practice, fully learn the revealed and esoteric paths, and swiftly attain Buddhahood.”
