🔶 About the Guanyin Compassionate Blessing, Repentance and Purification Puja
The Guanyin Compassionate Blessing, Repentance and Purification Puja features a profound and auspicious liturgy that incorporates offerings, reverence, aspiration, and repentance. Through sincere participation, devotees cultivate a heart of humility and remorse, generate the Bodhi Mind, and receive the compassionate blessings of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva (Guanyin) and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Obstacles are removed, blessings and merits increase, and wholesome aspirations are fulfilled.

As the verse says:"Wherever prayers are offered, there the Bodhisattva responds;
Across the sea of suffering, ever serving as a vessel of deliverance."

🔶 Significance of the Puja
💫 On 1 August (Saturday), the Sangha of Ban Foo Monastery will lead the congregation in the recitation of the Guanyin Compassionate Blessing, Repentance and Purification Puja for 200 sessions, praying for the illumination of the Buddha's light and the compassionate protection of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva.

💫 A Grand Offering Ceremony will be conducted before the Buddha, where monastics and devotees will respectfully make offerings to the Three Jewels and dedicate merits for blessings and memorial purposes. Through the power of the Puja's merits and the blessings of the Sangha, prayers and dedications will be made for all blessing and memorial tablets.

💫 Merit Dedication for Sponsors and Their Families
May all those receiving blessings and their families enjoy peace, safety, good health, and harmony. May their merits and wisdom continually increase, their study and practice of the Dharma proceed without obstacles, and may they swiftly attain Bodhi.
May the departed be reborn in the Pure Land, encounter and practice the true Dharma, and ultimately accomplish the path to Buddhahood.
